We love dogs. Love, love, love them! While our own two beloved fur-babies sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in the last year, we still love seeing you all enjoy The Strawberry Inn with your own dogs! We always enjoyed taking our dogs on trips with us, and as a result, the inn has been dog-friendly since day one. As we’ve grown, we’ve been looking for extra ways we can spoil your dog, as well as taking some stress off of you too! I’m so excited to share all about our new dog goodie bag that just launched this spring!
When you check into your space, you’ll find a package waiting for you to use during your stay. Inside the canvas bag, there is a set of stainless bowls, plastic waste bags for cleaning up after your pup, a cozy blanket for them to cuddle on, and an adorable souvenir bandana. Most of the bag is just for use during your stay, but you get to take the bandana home as our gift to you! We recently hosted our friend Cynthia Sassi and her adorable dog for a stay; look how cute her pups are rocking the new bandanas.
Pine-Strawberry is a very dog friendly community. Many of the local restaurants have dog-friendly patios, trails are open to leashed dogs, and more! We just ask that you clean up after your dog, keep them leashed while outside according to local regulations, and never leave them alone in your room or property- we don’t want any stressed-out pups on vacation!
Dog-friendly restaurants:
Pie Bar (Strawberry), THAT Brewery (Pine), Old County Inn (Pine), Pinewood Tavern (Pine), Macky's Grill (Payson), Buffalo Bar and Grill (Payson)
No matter the size you’re traveling with, we have a dog-friendly option available. The upper park tiny cottages and Bunkhouse, the downstairs floor of the Inn, and the Creek Cabin are all open to dogs. When in doubt, I suggest checking the ‘Properties’ tab of the website; be sure to stick to dog-friendly rooms when booking with a pup, otherwise we’ll have to make the switch for you. When you book your stay, simply add on the dog fee at check out and let us know the name and breed. Super easy! We can’t wait to host you and your four-legged friend. See you ‘berry soon!
