LOCAL FAVORITE: Fossil Creek Farm

Updated: Sep 15, 2023

Update 9/14/23: Fossil Creek Farms is temporarily closed. We will update as soon as they are back up and running!

I’m so excited to introduce you to the newest restaurant in Rim Country: Fossil Creek Farm! This breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot is on Fossil Creek Road, just a few hundred yards from the Inn. They are open every day except Wednesdays and Thursdays. Keep reading to learn more about this wonderful eatery.

Carrie and Steve Perry are the duo between Fossil Creek Farm. The approach is a farm-to-table restaurant, with ultra-fresh ingredients sourced from small, Arizona-based suppliers. They serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch, and plan to offer ice cream in the very near future too! They're also working on a fun seasonal menu as the weather cools - think scratch-made soups and artisan grilled cheese sandwiches. YUM!

When we went to Fossil Creek Farm, absolutely everything we had was phenomenal. I ordered the BLT sandwich. The bread they use is from Noble Bread (one of my fave bakeries in the Valley!) and takes the sandwich to a whole other level. The kids’ meals are definitely not your standard Happy Meal. It comes served in the cutest little farm box, and comes with the most amazing homemade chocolate chip cookie. Carson ordered the Carne Asada tacos and said they were some of the best he’s ever had.

Currently, everything at the restaurant is for takeaway only. So, plan to get your food and then find a spot to have a little picnic (maybe in front of the Inn or at the Upper or Lower Park Yard!). Fossil Creek Farm is hoping to be able to offer seating very soon, so stay tuned on that!

I 100% recommend making a stop at this eatery while you’re in town. You won’t be disappointed.
