If you’ve never been to a harvest party, go add it to your bucket list right now! It’s so much fun, and the harvest party at Pine Creek Canyon Lavender Farm is exceptional. I feel like we’re stepping back into some old-world European experience, with the flowers everywhere, the small community coming together for the occasion, with a backdrop of rolling hills and historic barns.
So, what exactly is a harvest party? Basically, when a crop is done growing, and ready to be harvested, a big group gets together to help make quick work of everything! As the saying goes: “Many hands make light work.” And bonus: it’s fun! We get to hang with our friends and neighbors, pick the lavender, sort it into bundles, and we all go home smelling amazing from the aromatic flowers!
Some of my favorite lavender products from the farm: the lavender lotion bar, lavender cocoa, and the lavender soy candles. The most recent harvest party was last month, so unfortunately, you’ll need to wait another year to check out the event. But in the meantime, you can stock up on your fave lavender products to hold you over.
