Happy 4th Birthday, Windmill Coffee!

We are Dan and Marina Berryman! We moved to Strawberry in 2020 and immediately fell in love with the community and were thrilled to have an opportunity to open a coffee shop at the cute little Windmill located at The Strawberry Inn. You can read about our grand opening here. It’s so fun to see how much Windmill Coffee has become a staple in the community and for hotel guests!

5 summers after our big move, we have our son, Mike, running the coffee shop daily, with assistance from Alyssa, Joshua, David, and most recently, Rose! We’ve developed some fan-favorite beverages: maple latte, dirty hazelnut chai, peanut butter blended mocha, and strawberry lemonade blast! We have some fall specials that will be added to the menu any day now, including caramel apple cider, and blended pumpkin crème! I can’t wait.

We recently had the opportunity to visit Burundi, Africa. We have been going to Burundi since 2008. In 2017, we started a feeding center in a Pygmy village which serves breakfast to children six days a week. We also built an orphanage to house and care for 8 orphans, and recently completed an addition to the orphanage which will house 6 more orphans. We are so grateful to be able to spend a significant portion of our Windmill profits on funding these amazing ministries to children!

We are open daily from 6:30am to noon, except Saturdays we stay open until 2pm. We’d love to see you soon at the Windmill!
